Lester Petch
Founder, Chairman

Lester is Chairman and a founder member of TAM with over 28 years investment management experience in major Institutional Investment Institutions as a Regional and Global Investment Manager. He originally trained as an Investment Analyst before becoming a Manager of direct investment portfolios in the Life and Pension Fund industry for such companies as Royal Insurance, PosTel Investment Management and Target Group. He has a Joint BSc Hons Degree in Politics and Law from Southampton University, is a Fellow of the Securities Institute and a graduate of the Investment Management Programme of the London Business School.

 

 

Phillip Hadley
Managing Director

Phillip Hadley is Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer of TAM Asset Management International. He joined the company in 2005 having spent the prior twelve years working in the multi-manager asset management industry in Europe. As an investment manager Phillip focuses on top-down asset allocation policy and the quantitative and qualitative research of our underlying investments. He is a graduate of the Queen Mary College, University of London, and holds an MBA from the University of Birmingham.

 

 

 

 

James Penny
Senior Investment Manager

James joined our investment management team in 2014 as an Investment Analyst focusing on fund research and selection. Prior to joining TAM he worked at UBS Investment management initially in their New York office then most recently London.. Whilst at UBS he specialised in global equities and derivatives research and investment within their Portfolio Trading Division. James brings significant financial market experience to our company including a disciplined and methodological approach to global investment. He is a graduate in Business Management from Oxford Brookes University, UK.

 

 

 

 

Stephanie Sotiriou
Senior Investment Analyst

Stephanie joined our investment management team in 2015 as an Assistant Investment Analyst, focusing on supporting in the fund research and selection process. She has progressed to become the team's Senior Investment Analyst, with a specific focus on managing TAM’s ethical portfolios. She brings with her significant knowledge in economics and finance, after graduating with a First Class Honours degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science in the summer of 2015. Stephanie also holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC).

 

 

 

 

Megashya Moonesawmy
Senior Research Analyst

Megashya joined TAM AM International in 2013 as an Research Analyst. She had previously worked at Pricewaterhouse Coopers and holds a BSc (Hons) in Finance from the University of Mauritius. She is currently studying towards her CFA qualification.

 

 

 

 

Kooshal Seetul
Investment Analyst

Kooshal joined TAM in 2008 as a Research Analyst after working for IFS, a leading international management company. He is a Graduate in Finance & Law from the University of Mauritius and also holds a Masters in Accounting and Financial Management from Birkbeck College, University of London. Kooshal holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and is currently studying towards his CFA qualifications.

 

 

 

 

Eric WilliamsoN
Investment Analyst

Having completed three summer internships with TAM, Eric Joined the IM team permanently in 2016 and completed the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) within the first 6 months. Our newest member brings a first class honours degree in Finance, Investment & Risk from Glasgow Caledonian University, giving him a broad and comprehensive knowledge-base of which to support the investment team with fund research and analysis. Eric also brings with him experience of working with intermediaries, putting him in an advantageous position for serving the needs of our financial advisers.

 

 

 

 

Alvin Cunnen
Research Analyst

Alvin joined TAM AM International in 2014. He is studying towards his BSc Banking & Investment at the University of Mauritius.
