Novembers US jobs report was announced today. 211,000 jobs were created, this figure was 11,000 over market predictions. Following on from the upward revision of Octobers employment figure the average number of jobs created in the US each month is now at 218,000. The market will likely see this as supportive of the FED beginning to raise interest rates when they meet on the 16th of December. Novembers employment numbers have pushed the futures market to price in a 74% probability that the first rise will come in 2015.
