UK GDP rises faster than any time since World War 2

UK GDP rose 7.5% in 2021 compared with the previous year which was the strongest single years GDP growth going back to the second world war. However, this growth number was off the back of a 2020 number which was severely depressed because of the pandemic measures put in place.
